Hi there, my name is Atoussa Kashani and I’m a preschool teacher and a local artist.
I’ve been painting and hiking for the past 20 years and have been living on the North Shore since 1980. Art has been a major part of my life since 2004 and I’m inspired by the work of Canadian artist Robert Bateman. My preferred medium is Acrylics as it’s fast drying and very versatile. I usually paint from my own photography, but I also take requests from fellow hikers to paint from their own photography.
